yes, I'm having the issue after removing the virus, and don't have any other security software or firewall software running to my knowledge, unless there is something associated with firefox. I followed your instructions, and it didn't fix the issue.

yes, I'm having the issue after removing the virus, and don't have any other security software or firewall software running to my knowledge, unless there is something associated with firefox. I followed your instructions, and it didn't fix the issue. More than likely your computer is still infected with malware. Follow the instructions below then deal with the firewall issue after you are certain your computer is clean.Click on the first link below and download TDSS Killer. Save the file to your desktop. Double click on the file and choose run. Allow the scan to complete. Follow the prompts on the screen choosing to quarantine anything found . At the conclusion of the scan you may be prompted to restart your computer to complete the process. Follow the prompts if instructed to do so.Tdss Killer direrct downloadNext, click on the link below to download Malwarebytes. If you already have Malwarebytes installed simply update it prior to scanning. If you do not have Malwarebytes installed make sure you update it once the installation is complete and prior to the scan. Choose a full scan with Malwarebytes. At the conclusion of the scan choose to remove anything found. Post your results of the scans.mbam direct dld I don't vote for myself I'm not here for the points. If this post helps you, vote. I did this, which removed 10 more infected items, but still am unable to enable Windows firewall, or log on using Outlook or Explorer. Also, I can't access certain web pages with Firefox.
